“I got much more than I expected from the Bridges to Business program, including practical ‘boots-on-the-ground’ tactical training, advice from top-notch legal, accounting, and banking pros; and great insights regarding ways to recognize and blow past personal barriers to achieve success. I strongly recommend the program.” | Keith M., software developer, Andover, Massachusetts
Funded in part by the U.S. Small Business Administration, Bridges to Business provides business classes, coaching, and support services to entrepreneurs living in Massachusetts and Rhode Island. The program starts with a 15-hour course that provides a powerful real world overview of business fundamentals. The curriculum, taught by experienced business coach Hillary Rettig, covers profitability, sales, marketing, and time management in practical, concrete terms. This grounding makes the class accessible to experienced business owners and enthusiastic beginners alike.
Following the course, qualified applicants receive a suite of support services to grow their businesses further. Support is never “one size fits all;” Bridges to Business delivers customized solutions to meet each entrepreneur’s specific needs. For example, clients meet one-on-one with professional business coaches to develop business plans and marketing strategies, overcome common barriers to success, and hone time management skills. Our entrepreneurial network also links clients to free business attorneys, web developers, graphic designers, marketing experts, financing resources, and industry mentors.
Bridges to Business welcomes all types of business, and all types of entrepreneurs.
