In addition to providing recently-arrived refugee families with education on household budgeting, credit, and savings strategies, the Institute services loans to small businesses and administers individual development accounts (IDAs) to refugees to match and incentivize their savings.
Available to both foreign-born and U.S.-born individuals living in Massachusetts and Rhode Island, the Institute’s Bridges to Business program offers holistic support to entrepreneurs across a variety of industries. The program’s coaches, with over 20 years of experience in business development, deliver customized solutions to meet each client’s needs. The program’s 15-hour course covers essentials from profitability to marketing to time management.
